Some parents whose children graduate from Pasco Countyâs eSchool this spring have a request of the district.
They want their kids to have a mask-optional commencement.
âIt would be nice to see all the smiles on that day,â said Stephanie Ramirez of New Port Richey.
Are school dress codes too hard on girls? âWeâre not in the 1950s anymore.â
Pasco County plans a âdeep diveâ on its dress code as other school districts across Florida also wrestle with the issue.

School Board member Colleen Beaudoin said sheâs heard that sentiment from several parents and students recently. But when the time came Tuesday for public comment on the districtâs student code of conduct revisions, no one came forward.
