The Amber Alert issued for two Milwaukee girls was canceled late Sunday night after the children were found safe, according to an alert.
Winter E. Harbour, 2, and Safari Harbour, 1, were brought into the District Seven police station, Milwaukee police said.
The girls father, Darrell A. Harbour, shot the children s mother and fled in the victim s vehicle with the girls earlier in the day, police said.
Harbour, who is armed, remains at-large, the alert said.
The vehicle is a 2007 maroon Chevrolet Impala with Wisconsin license plate AHA-8816. He was last seen Sunday on North 13th Street in Milwaukee.
At approximately 11:24 a.m., Harbour argued with the victim, a 20-year-old woman, and shot her, according to the Milwaukee Police Department. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

An Amber Alert has been canceled for two toddlers taken from a Milwaukee home by their presumed father, Darrell Harbour. He remains at large.
MILWAUKEE - The Amber Alert issued Sunday, April 4 for two missing Milwaukee children was canceled around 11:15 p.m. when authorities said the 2-year-old child and the 1-year-old child were dropped off at a Milwaukee police station by an acquaintance. Their father is on the run.
There was a sense of relief Monday for the family of Winter and Safari Harbour.

MILWAUKEE - An Amber Alert was issued Sunday, April 4 for a 2-year-old and 1-year-old missing from Milwaukee after their mother was hurt in a shooting.
Winter Harbour and Safari Harbour were last seen on N. 13th Street in Milwaukee.
They could be with Darrell Harbour, 36, of Milwaukee.
Police said the man who s believed to be armed injured the children s mother and fled in the victim s vehicle with his children.
A statement from MPD said: The suspect argued with the victim and fired shots at the victim. subsequently striking her. The suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle with the children, which warranted an Amber Alert. The victim, a 20-year-old woman from Milwaukee, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was treated at a local hospital.
