LAHORE:Quaid-e-Azam was the perfect example of Iqbal s Mard-e-Momin and Rumi s Mard-e-Kamil. This was stated by Senator Waleed Iqbal while addressing an event on Quaid-e-Azam Day organised by Aiwan-e-Iqbal and Iqbal Academy Pakistan. Iqbal Academy Pakistan Vice-President Dr Shahzad Qaiser, Director Prof Dr Baseera Ambreen, Anjum Waheed, administrator Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Nuzhat Akbar regional director, National Book Foundation, Brigadier (retd) Wajahat Hussain Sahi, director, Numl University and Haroon Akram Gill were also present.
Waleed Iqbal said Quaid-e-Azam changed the course of time, history and nation. Prof Dr Baseera Ambreen said “Both Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal are our focus and centre. Lahore, December 23, 2020 (PPI-OT): Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani has said that RPOs, DPOs should not only formulate security plans under their supervision for the protection of Christian places of worship across the province on Christmas Eve but also ensure proper checking of security duty of sensitive churches in the field and also pay special attention to the efficient use of modern technology in security arrangements. He added that full use should be made of CCTV cameras, metal detectors and walk-through gates for the security of A-category churches, while additional personnel should be deployed for the security of places of worship and parks besides Christian places of worship.

Karachi police foil major terror plot targeting Quaid-e-Azam Day, two terrorists arrested
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A major terror plot on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day has been foiled in Karachi. Two terrorists of an Indian-funded organization have been arrested from Ittehad Town.
According to SSP Kemari, the terror network is being run by the Indian intelligence agency RAW and Kalashnikovs, 6kg of explosives and grenades were recovered from the terrorists.
The Karachi police said that the network was being run under the guise of a nationalist party led by a terrorist named Asghar Shah. The wanted terrorist is in contact with RAW and has gone in hiding in Afghanistan.
Bank holiday on December 25 for Quaid-e-Azam, Christmas days

The State Bank of Pakistan, too, will remain closed.
The public holiday is on account of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, a statement said on Tuesday.
This is in line with the announcement made by the government of Pakistan.
Public holidays for 2021
The federal government had announced details of the public and optional holidays for 2021 earlier this month. A notification for the holidays was issued by the interior ministry.
A total of 14 public holidays were included for the general public. It starts from Kashmir Day on February 5.
At least 22 optional holidays had been announced for government employees. One employee, however, is only allowed to avail one optional holiday if they are Muslim and three if they are non-Muslim.
