Cloverland Electric Cooperative’s Round-Up campaign
Three Upper Peninsula students received$2000.00 collegiate scholarships from Cloverland Electric Cooperative’s Round-Up campaign.
“Cloverland Cares” allow members to round up their electric bill to generate funds to distribute into their U.P.’s communities.
All three 2021 Cloverland Cares award recipients plan to attend Lake Superior State University in the fall. Ahna Henderson plans to major in nursing. Both Nah Kah Aye and Brenna Pavey plan to earn a degree in elementary education.
One recipient was selected for each of Cloverland’s three districts:
Ahna Henderson, Maplewood Baptist Academy | District A
Nah Kah Aye, Sault Area High School | District B

DAFTER Cloverland Cares, the non-profit foundation of Cloverland Electric Cooperative, has announced its spring 2021 scholarship recipients.
“We’re proud to continue our scholarship tradition through our new Cloverland Cares non-profit foundation,” said Cloverland Electric’s President and CEO, Mike Heise. “We congratulate our scholarship recipients and thank our members who have opted-in to support Cloverland Cares.”
Applicants for the spring grant cycle were evaluated based on an essay, financial need, school involvement, community service and work experience, educational and career goals plus supporting letters of recommendation. One recipient was selected for each of Cloverland’s three districts to receive a one-time $2,000 scholarship.
