A vision, a plan
Stonegate Construction, Inc., seeks to convert the historic Fiske House and Odd Fellows Hall into a commercial space with a 100-seat restaurant and eight apartments, respectively.
A 32-unit, multifamily complex is proposed for the adjacent parking area.
The 3.5-acre site is located at 1 Billerica Road and Central Square, within the center village overlay district.
The project is a collaboration of multiple developers. The properties are owned by Americal Management, based in Beverly Hills, California.
Project Engineer Kate Enright presented modifications done to better accommodate fire vehicles. This includes turning radius and the type of curbing along islands in the driveway and parking areas.

The Victorian Government has increased the number of kangaroos allowed to be killed as part of its controversial kangaroo harvesting program by nearly 40,000.

Minister for Agriculture Mary-Anne Thomas said the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning estimated the current kangaroo population was almost 2 million across Victoria, up almost 40 per cent compared to 2018.
