The college football talking season begins as SEC Media Days get underway Monday in Birmingham, Alabama. LSU Coach Ed Orgeron is one of three coaches who will speak today. 24-7 sports college football writer Brandon Marcello says the Tigers could contend for an SEC title this year after a 5-and-5 campaign in 2020.
“Listen they have the talent to finish in the top two in the SEC this year, I kind of want to know more about what exactly went wrong last year,” said Marcello.

The Bonnies head coach was happy for his elated players. The Bonnies became the fifth No. 1 seed in league history to win the tournament en route to their third NCAA Tournament bid under Schmidt’s leadership.
“It really didn’t matter who we were playing,” Schmidt said. “Just getting into the tournament is exciting for our guys. It was a goal of ours at the beginning of the year.”
