Due to Covid restrictions, which caused a delay in sourcing some building materials and a delay in transportation, the dessert parlour had to open two months later than initially planned. Mr Zaman said: “It is not an ideal time to be opening a dessert parlours like this - we started trading about six weeks ago for takeaway and delivery on Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat. With the whole city centre being quiet there is no one around and so we were really relying on the delivery apps.
