Reports of gunshots prompted a massive police presence at a home in Deptford on Saturday afternoon and forced nearby residents to shelter in place for several hours.
PAULSBORO - Police are investigating a shooting incident here that killed two men and critically wounded a third.
Aaron L. Owens, 28, and Cory R. Bunch, 25, were found slain near Delaware and West Adams streets on Saturday afternoon, the Gloucester County Prosecutor s Office said Tuesday.
Both men were Camden residents.
A third shooting victim was in a nearby vehicle, according to the prosecutor s account. That man was hospitalized in critical condition. It would mean everything to my family and I if we could pull together during this tragic time, Bunch s sister, Denise Pennington, said in the appeal.
Detectives believe witnesses can provide crucial information to help investigators, the statement said.
