Government08/Mar/2021 New Delhi: Clashes erupted in Telangana’s communally-sensitive Bhainsa town in Nirmal district on March 7 evening when two groups resorted to stone-pelting, which left 12 injured, including a policeman and a journalist. Union home minister Amit Shah has taken stock of the matter, and the situation is currently stable. According to PTI, tension began to brew when two motorcycle riders ran into an argument over a road rage issue. The issue soon escalated into a full-blown clash with several others joining the argument. People began hurling stones. Several vehicles were also torched. Zulfekar Gully, Kabir Road, Ganesh Road, and Medhar Road areas in the town have been affected, as per local reports.

HYDERABAD: The TRS government had spent Rs 12,800 crore towards fee reimbursement to students since 2014, besides clearing accumulated arrears of Rs 1,800 crore, said TRS working president and MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday. The State government emphasized quality education, focussed on generating employment opportunities for the youth. Under TS-iPASS, industrial permits were issued to 15,000 companies that resulted in 15 lakh new jobs, he said. Not A Single Educational Institution To Telangana Despite Repeated Requests: KTR Mar 07, 2021, 11:53 IST In the wake of MLC Elections, Telangana IT Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao, Tweeted on Saturday that despite the Telangana government’s frequent requests, the BJP-led central government had not sanctioned a single educational institution in the last six years for Telangana.  He accused the Central government of discriminating against Telangana and pointed out that in the last six years, the Centre sanctioned as many as 7 IITs, 7 IIMs, 2 IISERs, 16 IIITs, 4 NIDs, 157 medical colleges and 84 Navodaya Vidyalayas to other States but not a single of these were sanctioned for Telangana. He highlighted the lack of a Tribal University in the State, which was promised as part of the AP Reorganisation Act.
