Severe weather threat winding down Tuesday evening James Parish
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The threat of severe weather is winding down across southern Wisconsin Tuesday evening. The rain from earlier today and continued cloud coverage has worked over the atmosphere across much of southern Wisconsin. But don’t put the rain gear away if you are headed out this evening. Additional rain showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of cold front that will drop south across the area Tuesday night. The greatest threat with any additional rain shower and thunderstorm activity will be locally heavy rainfall if thunderstorms do train over each other.

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ga. The GBI is investigating after a man was shot in Crawford County Tuesday night.
According to a news release, it happened just before 10 p.m. at a home on Pine Valley Drive off Boy Scout Road.
When Crawford County Sheriff’s Office deputies got to the scene, they found the 24-year-old victim had been taken to the hospital by a family member.
The GBI was then requested to lead the investigation, which is ongoing.
The sheriff’s office says more information will be given at a later time.
