Andrew Purdue left his New Caney home in search of propane and food with his girlfriend Kathleen DeLeon on Tuesday.
However, it took much longer than usual because unprecedented power outages after snowstorms this week drove Tuesday and Wednesday’s rush for resources like water, food and propane in addition to roads that were slippery and tough to navigate.
