New study assesses COVID-19 risk among UK healthcare workers Researchers in the UK have reported the protocol for a longitudinal study investigating the risk of adverse physical and mental health outcomes related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) among healthcare workers from different ethnic groups. The study aims to address the emerging evidence and growing concerns that healthcare workers (HCWs) from ethnic minority groups appear to be at a greater risk of adverse COVID-19 outcomes than white HCWs. The protocol describes the UK-REACH (United Kingdom Research study into Ethnicity And COVID-19 outcomes in Healthcare workers) longitudinal cohort study.
