IT’s facility providers seek vaccination for employees’ safe return to offices
TFMC seeks to improve the number of employees in the IT companies to at least 25 per cent.

Hyderabad: With schools and colleges reopening after a long gap of 11 months and all other professional workspaces returning back to normalcy, IT company managements are also looking to welcome back employees to their offices. However, the intimidation whether they are safe continues to haunt the employees.
IT companies too are cautious to resume their offices for a section of their workforce. “We are working on a plan so that employees can come back to the office in a phased manner,” said the director of a Hyderabad-based IT company.

Hyderabad: Amid the hesitancy to take COVID-19 vaccine, a healthcare worker in the state of Telangana has died after receiving the shot. Officials said the healthcare worker died on Wednesday after complaining of chest pain.
A preliminary investigation into the cause of the death has ruled out any link to COVID-19 vaccination.
According to the director of Public Health and Family Welfare, Dr G Srinivas Rao, the healthcare worker had received the jab on Tuesday at around 11.30 am at Kuntala Primary Health Centre.

Hyderabad, Jan 19 : Nearly 52,000 public healthcare workers in Telangana were vaccinated for Covid-19 on Tuesday, the third day of vaccination drive.
Director of Public Health and Family Welfare G. Srinivas Rao said 51,997 healthcare workers working in Central and state government institutions were vaccinated at 894 session sites across the state.
The authorities had planned to cover 73,673 beneficiaries. He said 71 per cent of the targetted beneficiaries were vaccinated.
With this the cumulative number of beneficiaries vaccinated in the state rose to 69,625, the second highest number in the country after Karnataka, where 80,686 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in three days.
