Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. OTA’s started on Monday, but it just opened to the media yesterday. From all accounts, rookie QB Zach Wilson has started OTA’s strong, which is at least a good sign - although we probably wouldn’t hear different unless he looked atrociously bad. Also in OTA’s is LB C.J. Mosley, who is looking to come back with a vengeance after a nearly two year extended layoff from playing professional football. When speaking to the media yesterday, coaches seemed to reiterate the fact that the players were excited to be there (who isn’t?), and that the team is working hard. Jets Rework Alex Lewis Contract

Most expected Alex Lewis to be cut this off-season but Joe Douglas and the Jets have decided to keep the offensive guard around for another season.
Instead of cutting Lewis, the Jets will instead keep him around on a restructured contract.
Lewis was set to make $5.8 million this year, but will now make $3 million instead and 2022 has been eliminated from his deal. Basically the Jets now have Lewis on a one year $3 million deal.
The Jets and G Alex Lewis have agreed to a reworked contract that pays him a base salary of $3M this year (previously $5.8M) while eliminating the final year of the deal in 2022.
