VIJAYAWADA: IT minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy has said the CXO conference organised here is aimed at boosting the cause of expansion of the IT industry in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the conference here on Friday, he said chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy would take the state’s IT sector forward with several novel ideas. Many schemes have been introduced in the field of education and other sectors.

New Delhi [India], March 17 (ANI): Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, DV Sadananda Gowda on Wednesday said that Rs 8 lakh crore investment are in the pipeline in the Indian chemical industry by 2025.
Gowda inaugurated the 11th Edition of India Chem 2021 in New Delhi with the theme India: Global Manufacturing hub for chemicals and petrochemicals on Wednesday. He stated that the Indian chemicals and petrochemicals industry is growing to new heights, and informed that an investment of Rs 8 lakh crore is anticipated in the sector by 2025.

Industries and Commerce Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy on Wednesday said that Andhra Pradesh was looking to build self-sufficiency in petrochemical products and drive economies of scale in the downstream chemical industries.
For the development of the Petroleum, Chemical and Petrochemical Investment Region (PCPIR), Andhra Pradesh is enabling co-location of bulk, intermediate and speciality petrochemicals players. Besides, the State is talking to MNCs to facilitate joint ventures and technology transfer for introducing key intermediates.

Amaravati, March 15 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday directed officials to provide desalinated water for industries and concentrate on conserving fresh water.
He held a review meeting at the camp office on freshwater conservation and distribution of purified water to industries, instructing officials to take appropriate measures in providing quality water.
