COSHOCTON - Two teenagers were transported to Coshocton Regional Medical Center on Monday evening following a single-car crash on County Road 16.
According to Sheriff James A. Crawford, 18-year-old Ashley Stokes, of Coshocton, was traveling west when she lost control of her 2007 Lincoln near Lyons Curve.
Her car then went off the road and over an embankment, then overturned multiple times before coming to rest in a field. Stokes and a 17-year-old passenger were then transported via Coshocton County EMS for treatment of injuries. Their condition was known as of Monday night.
Also assisting at the scene were the West Lafayette Fire Department, Coshocton City Fire Department, REACT and Prince s Wrecker Service.

Dick Meek, 89, and Shirley Meek, 87, passed away within minutes of each other on January 16th at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, the family said. They never had to go through until death do us part, said their daughter Debbie Howell. They never had to do that because they were together and we re ever so grateful. The couple was scheduled for their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on January 19, her dad s 90th birthday. They were that close, said daughter Vicci Harper.
