Rivera indictment for drug trafficking amended
COSHOCTON - A Coshocton man had a new amended indictment for drug trafficking and related charges issued by the Coshocton County Grand Jury.
Derik C. Rivera, 31, was originally indicted in March for aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine and aggravated trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, second-degree felonies, from an incident on Feb. 24 with a one-year firearm specification for each count. The indictment included an order to forfeit the gun in question, which is a Ruger 9 mm.
He was also indicted with having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony, and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony, related to the firearm. Rivera is not permitted to have a weapon due to being convicted of drug possession in January 2018 and drug trafficking in July 2018.
Blake Grewell indicted with murder, rape of Brianna Ratliff
Coshocton teen was also indicted with tampering with evidence by special edition of grand jury
Blake Grewell was indicted Friday by a special edition of the grand jury in the death of Brianna Ratliff.
He was indicted with two counts of aggravated murder, unclassified felonies, rape, a first-degree felony, and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.
It was said that a cutting instrument was used in the murder and the lethal event was stab wounds to the neck.
Ratliff was buried Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
