State managed crews reach the halfway point for home sites cleared statewide
The task force is combined of groups from the Oregon Departments of Transportation, Environmental Quality and Emergency Management.

PHOENIX, Ore. It s been more than six months since the Almeda, South Obenchain, and Slater fires swept through Jackson, Josephine, and Siskiyou counties scorching thousands of acres and leaving thousands of people without their homes or businesses.
Right now, state managed crews are working on the process of clearing out the ash and debris and get these areas one step closer to completing the rebuilding process.

TALENT, Ore. – Today Governor Kate Brown visited the Mountain View Estates mobile home park in Talent, the park was destroyed in the Almeda Fire and is now one of the first locations to near the end of the clean-up process.
Local officials with agencies that are working in tandem to clean up fire debris and rebuild homes were at Mountain View Estates to give the Governor an update on where the rebuilding process stands today.
