This is because of the sporting restrictions following the current lockdown relating to the surge in Covid-19 community cases.
Golf Fiji tournament director Rohit Chandra said if the borders didn’t open and sporting restrictions were not lifted then they would have no option but to postpone the event to a later date.
He said the players would need ample time to participate in their respective weekly club competitions to prepare for the East vs West clash. “Last year, West defeated East 36-12 at the Golf Links course in Lautoka,” Rohit said.
