Gorey Night Run took place virtually across four days and saw close to 900 people of all ages take part with a total of €20,750 raised for the North Wexford Hospice.
Whether they were in Gorey, Wexford or Australia, they completed the five kilometre walk or run while representing the town they love in their t-shirts.
There was plenty of support for all involved online, as the event kicked off on Thursday with Shelley Atkins from DiverseFit presenting an online video to help everyone get warmed up. American actor Johathan Jackson also stuck to his word and took part in the challenge, and even submitted photographs to the virtual photo booth which collected over 100 photos.

Ferns St Aidan s GAA Club is organising a fundraising initiative that in addition to raising money for the club will also help local people get fit and active.
The club is challenging local people to walk or run the distance to Tullamore, in Offaly, Thurles, in Tipperary, or even the whole way to Wales.
However, the distance will only need to be covered in a manner of speaking. We re not really asking people to set out for those places, said club chairman, Eoin Gethings. Instead, they re examples of places that are 100km from Ferns, as the crow flies, and 100km is the distance that we re asking people to cover over the next four weeks, he added.

Gorey s answer to The Tommy Tiernan Show is the weekly online podcast Paper Tuesdays, presented by Marc Halpin and Michael Dwyer with the help of producer Robbie Dunne.
With more than 40 episodes under their belts and some hundred listeners, the lockdown project for these young men has really grown legs since it was born in May of last year.
The idea behind Paper Tuesdays originates from their school days at Gorey Community School, when Michael would distract himself with local newspapers and post them on his Snapchat.
He admits he has matured since then, and this current affairs podcast has branched out to topics from sport to photography to tarot card reading, and everything in between.
