The city issued a request for proposals earlier this week to operate a mobile food and non-alcoholic beverage service at the marina parking lot.

The request is strictly a city initiative, communications officer Gord Young said.
“We have always had two designated food vendor spots at the waterfront, although in recent years we have only had one designated vendor spot filled,” he said.
The existing food vendor, Curbside Fries, is still under an agreement with the city, Young added.
