Corey Bigelow is the Operations Manager for the Permanent Fund Dividend Division in the Department of Revenue.
He says applicants may receive a letter requesting additional information. They will have 30 days to provide the information. If they need extra time, they simply need to request it, he says.
There s been some discussion about a potential earlier date for distribution of the 2021 PFD, but Bigelow says those decisions rest with state leadership and the legislature. So they are currently planning for the normal payment schedule which calls for online distribution on October 7 with the balance going out in the mail on October 28.

Permanent Fund Dividend Division Director Anne Weske said on Action Line that their online application will be available beginning at 9 a.m. New Year s Day.
And she said of the deadline. The deadline is still, as we know it, March 31 of 2021.
The deadline was extended last year until April 30 due to the pandemic.
There are a couple of changes to this year s application. One involves a pre-paid card. We worked with Key Bank and got a great option out there for individuals to utilize .
