Temple PD investigating Saturday morning shooting that sends one to the hospital

TEMPLE, TX â The Temple Police Department responded to a shooting around 11:50 Saturday morning.
TPD found a 19-year-old male with a gun shot wound in the leg near the 4000 block of Mariam Rd.
During the investigation, officers found that the victim was shot near the Cole Porter Dr. and Linwood Rd. intersection before eventually being found on Mariam Rd.
The victim s injuries are considered non-life-threatening and he was transported to Baylor Scott & White.
The suspect in the shooting is believed to be driving in a black Nissan Altima.
Officers responded to the shooting around 11:50 a.m. They said the victim is in stable condition at this time, and believe the suspect drives a black Nissan Altima.
A Temple teenager was transported to a local hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening after being shot Friday evening, police said.
A 16-year-old told police he was visiting a person in the 700 block of West Calhoun Avenue at about 8 p.m. when someone in a black vehicle shot at him, according to a news release.
The victim ran through the area when a second unknown subject appeared and shot the victim in the leg. He was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple.
The case is under investigation.

The Temple Police Department said around 8 p.m., officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 700 block of W. Calhoun Avenue.
The teen victim told officers he was visiting someone he knew when an unknown person in a black vehicle shot at him, TPD said.
