Dog rescued after falling into deep pit

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - The old cliché is that firefighters are always called out to pull cats that are stuck in trees, but one call for the Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services might just be the exact opposite.

The post states that Mr. Ty McIntyre found the sweet dog in the hole and called for help.
Firefighters from Cobb County Fire Station 1 responded to the scene and quickly went to work.

A dog has been reunited with its owner after being rescued by firefighters and animal service officers from a giant hole in Georgia.
Cobb County Animal Services revealed in social media posts on Friday afternoon that the dog was discovered by local resident Ty McIntyre at the bottom of a large man-made pit earlier that day.
The agency revealed that McIntyre discovered the trapped dog while checking the property and its surroundings during a visit, before then calling the authorities to help rescue the animal.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. (Gray News) – A dog is back with its owner after it was found at the bottom of a deep hole.
Ty McIntyre found the pup while checking a property northwest of Atlanta, according to a Facebook post from Cobb County Animal Services.
“Cobb Fire (Station 1) responded and with the help of ACO Huber the dog was freed unharmed,” an animal services Instagram post said. “The owner was located shortly after.”
