The event in Cobb County brought out several local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Members of the community could learn about the different jobs in law enforcement, check out the vehicles and gear and meeting the people behind the badge.

A suspect believed tied to an armed robbery of Brinks truck was shot Monday during a police pursuit in Cobb County, Georgia, and taken into custody, reports said.

Atlanta s WSB-TV reported that the most recent attempted robbery unfolded Monday morning in Cherokee County. The report said a Brinks security guard was shot outside of an Atlanta-area medical center. The guard has been listed in stable condition. Police are working to determine if anything was taken during the robbery attempt.

COBB COUNTY, Ga - Dozens of cars were broken into at a couple of apartment complexes in Cobb County. It appears the same group of thieves broke into more than 20 cars in the WestHaven at Vinings apartment complex then went across the street and broke into more cars at the Paces Ridge apartments.
Markesha Ramirez woke up Monday morning to find the window of her SUV smashed out. She soon realized she wasn t alone. I looked at the parking lot and saw that car broken into, and that car broken into, and that car. It s ridiculous, said Ramirez.
