As
malls and commercial establishments are set to reopen from today after a long shutdown, workers were seen busy cleaning up the premises.
“We are taking all measures to follow the standard operating procedures at our mall. We have organised vaccination for employees and also
customers who are yet to get vaccinated. Our mall may be opened for customers in the afternoon on Monday,’’ said
Uday Garudachar, owner of
Garuda Mall.
He said that he was not expecting a large number of customers to visit malls on Monday. “I expect the number of customers visiting malls will increase gradually. As of now, workers are busy in sanitising the mall and fixing minor issues,’’ he said.
