The 14-day rate per 100 thousand people in the area is 1,033 – compared to the national average of 344. Meanwhile, Galway City East is 639 and Galway City West is 528. Elsewhere, and Connemara South is 370, Loughrea is 357, Athenry-Oranmore is 344, Tuam is 340, Connemara North is 308, Ballinasloe is 285, Gort-Kinvara is 255.
