St Michael s Hall to host April 20 blood drive

St. Michael’s Hall to host April 20 blood drive FORT LORAMIE St. Michael’s Hall will host a community blood drive Tuesday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 33 Elm St., Fort Loramie. St. Michael’s Hall now hosts six blood drives per year, all sponsored by the Fort Loramie American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Fort Loramie Community Service Club, St. Michael’s Church and the St. Michael’s Knights of St. John. Despite the many challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, donor support at St. Michael’s 2020 blood drives declined only 10% from 2019. St. Michael’s Hall hosted three blood drives with 780 donors and added two COVID-19 plasma drives.

But the plows came early, the sun smiled, and more than 200 donors braved temperatures in the teens to help save the winter blood supply.

Thankful for food drive support - Sidney Daily News

Thankful for food drive support To the editor: It has been an annual tradition for the Fort Loramie Community Service Club to partner with Fort Loramie Schools to organize a food drive for the benefit of the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. This year the food drive was held the week of February 1. First, I would like to thank the students and their family members at both the elementary and junior/senior high school for their continued tremendous generosity and support. The St. Vincent DePaul volunteers expressed their gratefulness of your donations of food, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and other household items.
