A man from the Cote First Nation charged with Second Degree Murder in the death of a toddler, has appeared in court again.
23-year-old Waylon Severight was in Yorkton today (Thu), and was remanded in custody to August 5th.
RCMP say the accused was known to the victim, 21-month-old Lorenzo Cote.
On November 21st, RCMP and emergency crews were called to a Canora residence on a report of a one-year-old boy needing urgent medical care, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
