WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - Summer Buzbeeâs family members spoke to WBRC FOX6 News Friday before a community and Walker Countyâs Sheriffâs Office search for their daughter.
Summerâs mom and dad said they love her very much and they want their little girl to come home.
The Buzbees both thanked volunteers and community members for their support and help in the search for their daughter.

UPDATE: The Walker County Sheriff’s Office posted an update Thursday on missing woman Summer Lashay Buzbee.
Buzbee, 23, was last seen by her roommate at home in the Redmill-Saragossa area on December 17.
Deputies said based on evidence and facts uncovered in the last couple of days, Buzbee’s status will be upgraded from Missing to Missing/Endangered.
Deputies said they have identified a person of interest they would like to talk to, but he has refused to cooperate. Because of his right to privacy and not incriminate himself, investigators will not publicly identify him.
