With summer vacation at the door, many parents may find themselves at the crossroads of panic and potential with how to help keep their kids occupied for the coming months. Stress no further and peruse the following summer camp options, just a few of what is being offered this summer in Garfield County, to see what may be best for your soon-to-be camper.
CMC Kids’ Summer Art Camps
There are a handful of spots left for the first segment of CMC’s arts camps beginning on June 14 and inspired by Paris. Education coordinator Annmarie Deter said the theme of this year’s camp is world travelers, and programming will be offered for children from ages 3.5-7 from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and camp will be from 9:40 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. for kids ages 6-14.

Rodman Library offers virtual Summer Art Experience

ALLIANCE – Rodman Library will be offering the 2021 Summer Art Experience from home.
Starting June 14, children ages 6-13 will be able to view art lessons via YouTube videos taught by six local art instructors, according to a news release.
Art supplies for the lessons will be provided free while supplies last, but children may participate by using their own supplies as well. Children will have six weeks to complete their projects.

She may be a new mother, having given birth to baby August in February of this year, but that hasn’t stopped Princess Eugenie from keeping busy with her philanthropic ventures. This week, the royal has ushered in the launch of a special summer art auction raising money for Horatio’s Garden, a charity that creates gardens in NHS spinal injury centres.
