Parts of northern Montgomery County received 1 to 2 inches of winter precipitation Thursday, with less than an inch closer to the D.C. line, according to the National Weather Service.
Meteorologist Cody Ledbetter told Bethesda Beat Friday that northern areas of the county experienced more precipitation.
“Most of the county saw all sleet. Up in the northern part of the county, you may have seen some snow early on,” he said.
The snow and sleet had mostly tapered off by 9 a.m. Friday. Ledbetter said no more accumulation is expected.
