Ian Alleyene retires as chairman of Fidelity Motors

Alleyene worked with Courtesy Garage Limited (Barbados) and Fidelity Motors Limited (Jamaica) for 18 years. The Management of Courtesy Garage Limited (Barbados) and Fidelity Motors Limited (Jamaica), subsidiaries of Goddard Enterprises Limited has announced the retirement of Ian Alleyene as chairman of both companies. In making the announcement, Senior General Manager of Courtesy and Director of Fidelity Motors, Nicholas Mackie, lauded Alleyne for 18 years of committed and effective service and leadership to both companies. Mr Alleyne took the helm of the two companies in the very challenging years following September 11. He navigated and guided the company through some of its most difficult periods, including the financial crisis of 2008 and, more recently, the COVID-19 pandemic. He is hands down one of the best leaders I have worked with within my 30 years in the automotive industry.
