NASHVILLE, Tenn. It s one thing to know the earthmoving products your company produces do exactly just that: Move earth.
But it adds more perspective when you can confidently quantify what your products in this case, off-the-road (OTR) tires manufactured by Bridgestone Corp. actually do.
According to Rob Seibert, president, OTR, U.S. and Canada, Bridgestone Americas, the company s OTR tires move 1,000 tons of material per second across the globe.
That s a lot of material movement. We take great pride in knowing that, and that s a testament to the strength of our product portfolio, Mr. Seibert said.
And although Mr. Seibert is new to his position he succeeded Bridget Neal as the head of OTR last November he knows the portfolio well. He not only worked in the mining industry prior to the tire industry, he also has served in roles of increasing responsibility in the OTR business unit since joining the tire maker in 2015.
