Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Houston Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson has officially asked to be traded by the team this week. Why does this matter to the Jets? It’s been stated on more than one occasion that the Jets are his preferred destination were he to be traded, and with the team having the capital to do so, it isn’t as far-fetched as one may think. Admittedly, I was, and still am bullish on the actuality of this happening. It’s very rare to see an elite quarterback in his prime get traded from his franchise, and the only example I have in recent memory is Drew Brees (who wasn’t the player he came to be with the Saints). My hope is that it happens as the Jets could absolutely use a player of Watson’s caliber, but I’ll hold my breath until the news comes. With that, here are y

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend per usual. This weekend featured the Conference Championship games for the AFC and NFC, with some good news and bad news for Jets’ fans. The good news is that the Bills won’t be playing in the Super Bowl. The bad news is that Tom Brady continues to defy the odds and is playing in yet another Super Bowl game, this time with the Bucs. Personally I’d rather not see Tom Brady win another Super Bowl, but the chances of that are pretty high considering the team around him. Thankfully for us, the Bucs will have to face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs who continuously show why they’re the best offense in the NFL. Hopefully that means we won’t have to see Brady hold yet another title. With that, here are your links for

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. With a week full of rumors involving Deshaun Watson to the Jets, new rumors have now surfaced of Allen Robinson planning on signing with the team as well. These probably stem from a social media ‘like’ made by Robinson, which is the equivalent of a grain of salt. Granted, it would be fantastic if both players decided to sign with the team, but fans should temper their expectations until we get closer to the start of free agency. At this point Douglas, Saleh, and the organization have an idea of the direction they wish to go with the team from this point forward. Having faith in them making the correct moves is needed if wishing to avoid disappointment, while keeping optimism centered. This is usually a bad idea when concerning the Jets, but if it means that the Johnson brothers a

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend. I also would like to celebrate with you all Martin Luther King Jr. day today, and if you’re fortunate to have a day off from work, make sure to enjoy it! It seems like Houston may have its hands full with Deshaun Watson, as multiple reports keep coming out that it’s unlikely the QB plays again in a Texans uniform. Why is this important to the Jets? They are one of the very few teams who would have the capital to trade for the disgruntled star, and despite having Sam Darnold, have a need at the quarterback position. The other team who also has the assets to obtain Watson play in the same division, and that’s the Miami Dolphins. Questions about Tua Tagovailoa’s future in Miami have started rising as the year’s

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Big news on the Jets’ HC front, as the team has started its second interview process. This would mean that the team is starting to narrow down the candidates and we may see a new head coach of the Jets relatively soon. The first person brought in for a second interview was the 49ers’ DC Robert Saleh. Saleh is one of the few candidates I’d really like to see land the job after seeing how well he did with the 49ers. He may have had great talent to start off with, but 2020 showed just how good of a scheme he can run when he was missing a plethora of his stars for large portions of the year, while still keeping the team competitive. To be frank, if they had any semblance of QB play there’s a decent chance that team gets into the playoffs in a WC slot. We’ll see who else the tea
