The health ministry in a release said testing will commence on Saturday at 10:00 am.
The first set of testing will be done at Eltham High School, St Catherine Container Plaza in Yallahs Square.
“The health departments continue to work with community leaders to reduce the spread of the virus in several areas, especially after the festive season,” the release stated.
The ministry in the release said that the community intervention is part of the ongoing community sensitization regarding COVID-19 and Dengue matters.
Testing will continue on Sunday, January 17 at Eltham High School.
A representative from the respective health departments will be on-site to address members of the media for further details.
