Snoop Dogg is making an appearance in Waco tonight, July 5, for a tour series that sold out tickets in 2 hours.
The celebrity personality is hosting a concert, part of his Snoop Dogg vs. DJ Snoopadelic tour, at The Backyard Bar Stage & Grill located on 511 South 8th Street in Downtown Waco.
The event starts at 8:30 pm, and while tickets for this show are sold out it looks like the venue will continue to feature celebrity lineups; with Grammy award-winning rapper Nelly performing at the venue earlier this year.

The concert starts at 8:30 p.m., but doors open at 7 p.m.
Tickets start at $83. On the day of show, ticket prices will go up to $93.

Live music and entertainment venues like the Backyard Bar Stage and Grill have endured multiple shutdowns and lost at least tens of thousands of dollars since the pandemic started.
âThe pandemic made 2020 worthless to us. Pretty hard to overcome a loss of almost 5 months of salary and income,â said owner Chris Cox.
Cox says the shutdowns began right when concert season typically does. He says theyâve missed out on more than 25 concerts.
âWe were able to stay open as a restaurant, but when we lost the music side, it hurt us tremendously. They canât be reproduced. Thereâs not a fairy that can show up with gold dust and get us through,â said Cox.
