However, Stratford District Council, which this week recommended a $2.5m metering scheme, has estimated annual usage charges of $720 for a family of four and $360 for a household of two. That would be on top of the annual flat rate, which Stratford expects to fall from $573 to $335.

They signed off on spending $248m on water infrastructure, $20m to improve Waitara s stormwater system, $36m to extend the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway and a proposed trail from Mt Taranaki to the sea, and $40 million towards a multi-sport hub.
EXHIBITION: Local artist Emma Hunt has organised this exhibition with The Rum Story A Cleator Moor artist has teamed up with the The Rum Story to invite all artists and photographers to an exciting summer-long exhibition. The free exhibition will be held in the courtyard of the popular Whitehaven attraction and has already attracted talents such as internationally-renowned artist Jen Gash. The organiser, Emma Hunt stated her delight at being able to bring the project to life. She said: “We are so excited to be doing this venture together. We are hoping to give up to 15 artists and 5 photographers the chance to showcase their work at this stunning venue. We plan to showcase emerging artists as well as established ones. It’s a great opportunity to be seen in a beautiful setting.”

Zeta Reticuli is a binary star system that can be found in the constellation of Reticulum and is visible in the night sky from the southern hemisphere.

Unfortunately this means that the Zeta Reticuli binary pair cannot be seen from the UK, but it’s certainly worth seeking out if you find yourself under the southern hemisphere sky looking for celestial objects that would otherwise be out of range.
While we ourselves have never seen it, it can purportedly be seen clearly as a double star even with the naked eye, provided you’re viewing it under properly dark skies.
