Tucker Carlson Tonight, the host referenced statements made by Dr. Mary Harrow. Harrow, a general practitioner, told the Colorado Springs School District 11 Board of Education last week that face masks can cause low oxygen and high carbon dioxide levels, shortness of breath, toxicity, inflammation, increased stress hormones and sugar in the body, and create fear, anxiety, headaches, compromised cognitive performance and other problems.
Commenting on this, Carlson said: Your response when you see children wearing masks as they play should be no different from your response to seeing someone beat a kid at Walmart. Call the police. Immediately contact Child Protective Services. Keep calling until someone arrives. What you re looking at is abuse it s child abuse and you are morally obligated to attempt to prevent it.
Daycares, schools and colleges are the sites of nearly 40% of active COVID-19 outbreaks in El Paso County, making them the most common reported site, according to health department data.
Outbreaks at such sites comprise 36.71% of active outbreaks. That’s nearly quadruple the outbreaks at the second-leading site category, offices and indoor workspaces, the site of nearly 10% of active outbreaks, according to data on the county health department’s website, updated Sunday.
As of April 3, schools and colleges were the site of nearly a third of all active outbreaks. Positives stemming from such outbreaks comprised less than 6% of diagnoses tied to site-based outbreaks. As of Sunday, they comprised nearly 8%.
