After a two year wait, the award-winning Camp Rocky is returning for its 57th year this summer outside Divide.
The statewide educational outdoor camp gives students ages 14-19 hands-on experience in one of four focus areas: forest management; fish and wildlife management; soil and water conservation; or rangeland science.
Students will also have the opportunity to build friendships through activities including hiking, volleyball, campfires, a talent show and more.
“One of the goals of this experience … is bringing enough resources to these students so that they continue on with their education about natural resource management,” said Ben Berlinger, a rangeland science instructor.
