The Spun: Which defensive lineman do you like to watch the most?
MJ: Aaron Donald for sure because he’s shown me that it doesn’t matter what the statistics say. We’re the same size and weight, but obviously his body looks better than mine. I try to learn from him and see what makes him so successful. There are always a few things from his game that I can add to mine.
The Spun: What are you going to miss the most about playing college football?
MJ: The thing I’ll miss the most is not being an adult. Now, I have to do this to make money. Back at Colorado, I was there just playing the game with the mentality that everything would be all right.
CSU and CU extend Rocky Mountain Showdown
NORTHERN COLORADO (KRDO) The rivalry between The University of Colorado and Colorado State University is set to continue.
According to press releases made by both universities Tuesday, six new Rocky Mountain Showdown football games are happening.
The Buffs and Rams are set to play against each other in 2029, 2030, 2033, 2024, 2037, and 2038.
Both schools confirmed the upcoming games on their official football Twitter pages.

Off to solid start, Dorrell sees big things in store for CU

“How far we have to go,” he said Friday in a wrap-up video call.
That’s why Dorrell hasn’t taken much time off since the 55-23 loss to Texas closed the chapter on his first season in Boulder. He’s evaluating everything, from coaches (the team recently let go of their defensive coordinator) to schemes to players as they build off a 4-2 campaign.
“It was a good measuring stick of where we are as a program, and we’re not close to where we need to be,” said Dorrell, who w as named the Pac-12 coach of the year. “I’m going to make sure our staff does a really good job of, with a fine-tooth comb, going through everything we’ve done to scrutinize the good, the bad and the ugly.

BOULDER- Women s basketball s Jaylyn Sherrod and football s Brenden Rice are the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow.
In a close, 85-84 loss to Denver, Sherrod shined when she scored a career-high 24 points on 6-of-12 shooting. She added three assists and six steals in the effort. The sophomore guard also went to the free throw line 12 times where she knocked down nine.
