LISBON Tourists visiting the Lisbon area have a new travel brochure to aid them on where to eat, what to do, and what to see when they tour the village.
The new “Welcome to Lisbon” brochure began being made available to tourists and village residents last week.
The brochure was created by the Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce, with funding from the Columbiana County Park District and the village of Lisbon. It updates a previous one that was published two years ago.

LISBON Junior Saddler, owner of Donna’s Bicycle Shop, will open the month of June helping the Columbiana County Park District with Play it Safe, an event that will feature a presentation regarding bike safety.
Play it Safe will take place at the Erie Train Station on South Market Street. All riders young and old are invited to come at 10 a.m. on June 5 to hear a lecture about bike safety and trail etiquette from Junior.
“Wear a helmet and ride single file,” said Junior.
Brian Saddler, Junior’s son who helps with operations at the shop, said to ride with traffic and not against traffic when riding on the road.
