MUMBAI: Every year, over hundreds of cases of missing children, teenage girls, who are being kidnapped on the pretext of marriage, are registered in Malwani police station. While the rising cases of kidnapping and missing have become a major concern for the public as well as the police of the Malwani area, Sub Inspector (PSI) & Missing Persons Unit Officer, Usha Khose has taken charge and began her mission of finding the missing children.
Due to her courage and efforts, Khose has, till date, managed to crack over 100 minorsâ missing cases. âThe kind of joy I experience when kids reunite with their loved ones is difficult to express in wordsâ Khose exclaims. Apparently, every time Khose steps out in search of a missing child, she never returns to the police station empty-handed â a unique record set by her.

Fire breaks out at building in Thane s Ghodbunder Road, 20 rescued ANI | Updated: Apr 09, 2021 14:14 IST
Thane (Maharashtra) [India], April 9 (ANI): Around 20 people were rescued safely from a massive fire that broke out at a building in Ghodbunder Road, Thane on Friday.
According to the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), 20 people trapped in the building were rescued safely. Situation is under control. Rescue operation is complete and all residents of the building have been safely rescued, TMC informed.
Earlier, a fire also broke out at Ankur School in Krishna Nagar in Ahmedabad which was brought under control immediately without any casualties. (ANI)

Nearly a month after an explosives-laden SUV was found parked a short distance from Mukesh Ambani’s residence, Antilia, all investigative leads seem to be converging in Thane, a satellite city north of Mumbai.
The two vehicles, a white Innova, allegedly driven by assistant police inspector Sachin Vaze, and the light-green Scorpio, allegedly driven by one of his aides, started towards South Mumbai from Thane, 30 km away, on February 24. On the intervening night of February 24-25, the Scorpio was left parked 500 metres away from the Ambani residence on Carmichael Road, with 20 sticks of commercial blasting gelatin and a note threatening the family inside the vehicle.
