Mit ihm wird die Pandemie vermessen: Der PCR-Test gilt als Goldstandard der Corona-Diagnostik. Von Skeptikern wurde die Aussagekraft des PCR-Tests allerdings immer wieder angezweifelt. Rein intuitiv sind Zweifel naheliegend: Die PCR schlägt auch an, wenn ein Getesteter nur wenig Virus im Rachen hat und keine Symptome verspürt.
Diese Zweifel haben nun neue Nahrung erhalten. Ein Team der Universität Duisburg-Essen hat rund 162.000 Testergebnisse aus der Region Würzburg ausgewertet. Die Forscher kommen zu dem Schluss, dass ein erheblicher Teil der über 4000 positiv getesteten Menschen nicht ansteckend war.

The year 2020 will end with a bang, via a livestream concert by the legendary rock band Kiss.
The band will give a “2020 Goodbye Concert” from the beach at the Atlantis Resort in Dubai. The concert will air live on Dec. 31 at noon. Fans can watch it live or wait for night to fall to enjoy a replay of the two-hour show.
Tickets are $39.99 and $49.99 for livestream access, with VIP packages starting at $249.99 and up.
The show will be filmed with more than 50 cameras and 360-degree views, complete with pyrotechnics and a stage production.
It will be available for replay immediately after the livestream ends and will be on demand for a specific period of time, depending on the package purchased. The show will be streamed via Tixr, Tixr.com and Apple TV, as well as on demand-dedicated streaming links sent to all purchasers.
