This Christmas, whether through Zoom, FaceTime or actually being together, hopefully we were all spending time with loved ones, and surely there was some good food involved.
When we think of Thanksgiving and Christmas, so often we might reminisce about grandma s pumpkin pie or momâs stuffing. We all have enjoyed having a warm meal during a special holiday.
This Christmas, Freedom Life Executive Director Danny Hampton came to the staff and said, âLetâs roll up our sleeves and see if it is possible to put a special gift bag together for the over 170 men and women being housed at the McDowell County Jail, and while weâre at it, letâs go for the real miracle stuff and see if it is also possible to raise the funding to feed all 600 men being housed at the Marion Correctional Institution a Chick-fil-A meal.â

To celebrate the 60-year anniversary of Little Debbieâs Oatmeal Creme Pies, Kellogg announced on Tuesday that the famous cookie will now become a cereal.
Kellogg says that the cereal has oatmeal cookie flavored cereal pieces made with cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of molasses feature a sweet, creme-y coating reminiscent of those pies.
The breakfast cereal is now available nationwide with 9.1-ounce boxes selling for $3.99 and 14.5-ounce packages going for $5.69.
