West Delaware will be celebrating Prom on Saturday. After cancelling the event last year due to COVID, it’s back this year with health and safety precautions in place. The school will hold photos for the junior students and their dates from 1 to 2 pm, with the Grand March at 2 pm. The senior students and their dates will have Grand March at 3 pm, with photos following at 3:15 pm. Each student is receiving four tickets for spectators and all spectators must wear face masks. Both sessions of Grand March will be livestreamed on West Delaware’s Facebook page. The dance will take place Saturday night from 8 to 11 pm at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion – and students and staff will need to wear a mask while inside the building.
