The Lady Canes scored their first three runs in the bottom of the first when Reese Knox led off the inning with a bunt single and then stole second. Syerra Rogers slapped a one out line drive single to left that plated Knox. Grace Hixson sent a two out line drive into left, scoring Rogers and then raced home herself on a double to left by Shelbie Sholtz.

Penn State student Jackie Tucker and her roommates created the @friedpickleparadise Instagram account, which is dedicated to showing off various pickles from different parts of the country and the world.
Tucker (senior-marketing) said she and her roommates love pickles. She said they began going to different bars in the State College area and ordering fried pickles. After, Tucker said she thought it would be a good idea to try all of the fried pickles in town and rate them on an Instagram account.

LISBON A March 1 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Daniel L. Iden, 34, Quaker Church Road, East Rochester, charged with improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, as well as misdemeanor citations of OVI first offense and a turn signal violation. On Friday, Iden allegedly had a loaded gun on his hip while driving intoxicated on U.S. Route 30 near Augusta Road in West Township.
A March 15 preliminary hearing was set for David J. Soos, 52, Walnut Street, Washingtonville, charged with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly calling Tina Davidson multiple times between April 8 and Dec. 4.
