Updated 1/15/2021 10:06 PM The Elmhurst office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago and the firm s philanthropic arm, the Kindness Foundation, announced that they donated $1,000 to the Elmhurst-Yorkville Food Pantry in December. The money was part of a $40,000 donation pool to local food pantries in December. The Elmhurst office has an ongoing relationship with the Pantry and chose to support them because of their dedication to providing food, compassion, and hope to neighbors and children in need.   Joe Stacy, senior vice president, general sales manager, Kindness Foundation chairman and Elmhurst office managing broker, said, I was really pleased to share that we gave $1,000 to the Elmhurst-Yorkville Food Pantry in December. The money was part of a $40,000 donation pool distributed to local food pantries in December. The Park Ridge office chose to support the Maine Township Food Pantry because they provide emergency food pantry supplies to approximately 300 Maine Township residents every month. Michael Mazzei, senior vice president and regional managing broker of the Park Ridge office said, The Maine Township Food Pantry does such an amazing job of helping residents with emergency food supplies and we are just happy to be able to give them some extra assistance.
