Naila Jafry requests royalty payments amid draining cancer battle
Renowned actor Naila Jafry recently came forward to address the lack of royal payouts being offered to veteran actors, straight from her hospital bed.
In her video message Naila was quoted saying, “For the last six years I [have been bound] with hospitals, as well as illness and cancer. I also have not had my second round of chemo either because of a persistent infection and during this time I have wondered, ‘what if the government lends a hand in this? what if they set up some policies for older people from the arts and sports sector?”

LAHORE: The home department of the Punjab government has requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to postpone the NA-75 Daska by-polls until after Ramazan due to the “prevailing tense situation” in the constituency.
In a letter to the Election Commission, the provincial government stated that the voter turnout could be affected as the situation has not returned to normal in the area.
The ECP had earlier announced that re-polling in the constituency will be held on April 10, after the February 19 election was declared void on PML-N candidate Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar’s plea.

NEW YORK (KOLD News 13) - Instagram is taking steps to protect teenagers from unwanted interactions with adults. The popular social media company announced it will use artificial intelligence to restrict adults from messaging teenagers, if they don’t follow each other.
“We’re looking at machine learning to look at the behavioral signals of how old someone is,” says Instagram Head of Global Public Policy Programs Carolyn Merrell.
Instagram will also use prompts to encourage teens to be cautious, and make it harder for adults to find and follow them.

Four days after India s aviation safety regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation DGCA directed airlines & airport operators to ensure that all passengers strictly follow COVID-19 protocols, four unruly passengers have been put on the no-fly list.

As per the information provided via Alliance Air to DGCA, the airline s crew asked them to wear the mask but despite repeated requests, they did not follow the protocol.
