Riverview High reopens to students 8 days after confirmed COVID-19 case Riverview High School reopened to students Thursday after a positive case of COVID-19 was confirmed at the school Jan. 20, while Caledonia Regional High School remains closed. School Closures for Tuesday, January 26, 2021

Riverview High School is closed again today, and students will continue their at home learning.  This is day four of the closure after a COVID-19 case was reported last week. Dear Royals and Families, This is a quick message to let you know that students will continue their at-home distance… Caledonia Regional School is also closed again today.  Students in grades 6 through 12 are following their Learning at a a Distance Plan. Edith Cavell School is also closed again today. The first case of COVID-19 at the school was reported on January 12th.  Students there will also be continuing their Distance learning plan today.

Two Schools Remain Closed In Zone 1

Moncton, NB, Canada / 91.9 The Bend Jan 19, 2021 5:48 AM In the wake of recent cases of COVID-19, two schools will remain closed in Zone 1 today and students will be learning at home. Edith Cavell School in Moncton along with the T.E.S.S. (Therapeutic Education Support Site) program are closed after two cases were found last week. Caledonia Regional School in Hillsborough had a positive case found over the weekend. Principal Donna Godfrey says the learning at home plan on the school’s website provides instructions on how each student will communicate with their teacher using Microsoft Teams. Godfrey adds additional custodians were brought into the school on Monday to do a thorough cleaning of the school.

Edith Cavell School Remains Closed

Public Health is continuing to do contact tracing after two cases of COVID-19 were identified at the school this week. The first case was announced late Tuesday while the second case was revealed late Wednesday. Through social media, the school says teachers will continue to touch base with students regarding their at-home packages or work on Microsoft Teams.
